Gratitude is the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.

Below are some great ideas to express your gratitude:

  1. Gratitude Journal: Practice putting down your thoughts and keeps things in perspective.
  2. Breakfast Gratitude: While having breakfast, think of all the things you are grateful for: The food you are eating, the beautiful morning, a day full of promise.
  3. Grace before meals:  Giving thanks recognises all the great people involved in providing the meal.
  4. Gratitude letter / message: Sit down a write a letter, text or email message to someone who has helped you.
  5. Gratitude Charm Bracelet or box. Get yourself a charm bracelet box and choose charms or trinkets that are meaningful to you.
  6. Gratitude walk:  Go for a stroll and find things you are grateful for.
  7. Gratitude Trigger. Place an object somewhere in your house or workspace which will remind you to feel grateful each time that you look at it.
  8. Gratitude Partner. Find someone, it can be a friend or a family member, and share what you’re grateful for with each other.
  9. Gratitude visit: Visit someone that has helped you and let them know how grateful you are.
  10. Gratitude Jar: Write notes about what you are grateful for and fill a jar.
